Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions form part of the Quality Chess Academy participants agreement with iForMates Ltd and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia.
Your agreement with us is made up of these terms and conditions. By registering, you enter a legal agreement with iForMates Ltd. and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia, so please read them carefully. If you have any questions, please ask Kallia Kleisarchaki at info@qualitychessacademy.com.
Underaged persons registered to participate in the academy must be signed up by his/her parents/legal guardians with full agreement of the following terms and conditions.
Payments
All payments must be made on time and in full, following the instructions. Partial payment does not qualify for participation in the camps activities.
Refunds
Registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
Payments made to Lyttos Hotel fee are subject to their terms and conditions. NeitheriForMates Ltd or Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia are liable for any dispute between the participants and the hotel. Refunds of the hotel fee in the case of cancellation of participation in the camp has to be addressed to the hotel.
The service fee can be paid up until the beginning of the first session of the academy. If a participant has paid it in advance and cancel their participation more than three days before the start of the camp, a full refund, after banking fees, will be made.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall Jacob Aagaard Communications Ltd. and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia, nor any of their officers, contractors, directors and employees, be held liable for anything outside their control. In no event shall iForMates Ltd. and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia, including their contractors and employees be held liable for any indirect, consequential, personal or property damage or loss or arising out of your participation in the training camp.
Health and Safety
iForMates Ltd. and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia are not reliable for any medical or personal expenses or any other kind of expenses resulting from the participating in the camp. Travel and health insurance must be covered by every individual participating in the training camp.
Copyright
All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, and all material presented in the training camp is the property of iForMates Ltd., Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia and their contractors and are as such protected by international copyright laws. You are not allowed to share, distribute or by any means publish any of the training material without written permission from iForMates Ltd. and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia.
Indemnification
You hereby fully indemnify iForMates Ltd. and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia, their officers, contractors, directors and employees, from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages, property or fame losses and expenses arising in any way related to your participation in the training camp for which they are not directly and clearly responsible.
Variation of Terms
iForMates Ltd. and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit and expect the participants to review them before attending the camp.
Assignment
iForMates Ltd. and Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia are allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these terms without notification. However, the participants are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of their rights without written approval from iForMates Ltd. or Skakistikos Omilos Leon Candia.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms will be governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece, with the exception of the payment of the service fee and the advertising of the camp, which are governed by the laws of Scotland. In case of a dispute, it must be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and courts located in Heraklion, Greece for resolution, or the law society in Edinburgh, respectively.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
